Prof. Dr. Uğur Ekici, Erciyes Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi’nde başladığı lisans eğitimini başarıyla tamamlayarak Tıp Doktoru unvanı almıştır. İhtisasını ise Şişli Etfal Hastanesi’nde tamamladıktan sonra Genel Cerrahi Uzmanı olmuştur.

Mesleki çalışmalarına muayenehanesi’nde devam etmektedir.
